The 2nd Annual San Carlos Parks and Recreation Foundation Golf Tournament is set to take place on Friday, September 9th at Poplar Creek Golf Course in San Mateo. Please consider supporting this worthwhile event. All tournament proceeds will go directly to the Foundation’s general fund.
The Foundation’s mission is to support the vibrancy of San Carlos through its parks and recreation activities. The Foundation primarily funds capital improvement projects such as the recent renovation of the Burton Park playground, but we retain the flexibility to pitch in during times of fiscal uncertainty to assist the city in maintaining the stability and continued operation of the parks.
The scramble-format tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 1:00 pm. Box lunch is provided. At the conclusion of the tournament, golfers will retire to the banquet room for beverages and a delicious BBQ buffet dinner, where we will hand out prizes and hold the raffle. Raffle prizes include a two-night stay at the penthouse suite in San Francisco’s renowned Prescott Hotel.
Still need further incentive? The amazing Adam Rak, fresh off his golfing trip to Scotland, will be there to impress everyone with his newfound short game. He is a true magician around the greens.
