Week of the Family has quickly become of one the most popular San Carlos traditions. It cuts to the very core of what San Carlos represents. From January 22nd to January 29th, 2011, San Carlos will celebrate its 12th annual Week of the Family. The committee responsible for this year’s event consists of volunteer representatives from the City of San Carlos, local schools, churches and community groups.
Hundreds of families will take part in activities to celebrate and strengthen our community. San Carlos families take many forms. Everyone in our community is encouraged to participate.
The goals of the Week of the Family are to:
- Strengthen family relationships
- Provide families in the community the tools that help families
- Promote family life
- Honor and pay tribute to families
- Encourage families serving families
- Have lots of fun
