Sleepy, quiet, dated……the list goes on and on….but these are all words used to describe Laurel Street in the not-so-distant past. Fast forward to 2008, and it is likely that anyone visiting San Carlos for the first time in fifteen years or so, would probably barely recognize Laurel Street. It has gradually awakened from a deep slumber. Trendy restaurants, wine bars, eclectic shops and a “buzz” that is attracting attention outside of San Carlos. A vibrant downtown is clearly helping us maintain a healthy real estate market in San Carlos.
