The San Carlos real estate community will be hosting its 1st Annual San Carlos Real Estate Community Golf Tournament, benefiting the San Carlos Educational Foundation (SCEF).

How Does it Work?
Good question! Approximately 20 realtors/brokerages/and other’s connected to San Carlos real estate have each bought a foursome in the tournament. These funds go directly to Half Moon Bay Golf Links to pay for the entire tournament package for all participants.
At this year’s Spring Fling event you will see, what we are calling, “The Big Board”. The Big Board is a giant board showcasing approximately 20 numbered teams. The real estate donor/captain of each team will be covered up. Below the donor’s name will either be 3 or 4 blank slots (depending on if the donor is playing, or not). For an amount of approximately $125, anyone can sign up on any numbered team. Sign up to be the on the same team as your friends, or use this as a great opportunity to meet others in San Carlos and sign up on a team by yourself. Because the tournament has been completely bought out by the real estate donors, 100% of the proceeds paid by those at Spring Fling to play in the tournament will go directly to SCEF.
Once all teams have been filled on the night of Spring Fling, the donors/captains for each team will be revealed.
Worried about your golf skills?
We’ve got you covered. This is about having fun at a truly spectacular course overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This is also a scramble golf tournament. For those of you unfamiliar with how a scramble works, it goes something like this: each player tees off. The best drive is selected by the team and everyone then hits from that spot. This process continues until the ball is holed out. This format makes it easier on those who do not golf on a regular basis.
